英国的二人组合"杀"（The Kills）。女主唱W是美国人，而吉他手"酒店"（Hotel）则是英国人。从他们两个人不同寻常的名字你就不难想像这个乐队的音乐一定也很与众不同。乐队所有的乐器就是两把吉他，其他的声音都是电子合成的。但是他们的音乐跟一般的电子舞曲有很大不同，就跟乐队的名字一样，他们的音乐充满了黑暗的感觉。嘈杂的吉他，冷酷的电子鼓点。

在2001年成立的乐队由女主音Alison Mosshart，绰号W和Hotel组成，并与2003年发行过一些作品。2005年他们即将发行这张全新的专辑，带上耳机，享受纯厚的低音贝司吧。专辑更侧重于乐器的发挥而非W的歌唱，所以有时给人一种在听音乐会的感觉，唱已经成了点缀乐器的修饰品了，但也不是整张专辑可以作为器乐专辑来欣赏，部分曲目还是很凸现W的歌唱魅力，最为淋漓精致的就是Rodeo Town，第一首单曲上周上榜成绩是第22名，比起2003年的55有着长足的进步，The Good Ones是一首Radiohead式的电子grundge味道的作品，这两首歌可以听到两位成员的“合唱”。两首I Hate the Way You Love，有着截然不同的风格，第一首刚硬直白，part 2更像是忏悔式的自白，Ticket Man放在最后，让我觉得这张专辑就这么结束了有些可惜，是专辑中很出色的一首，风格迥异，歌曲以关门声结尾，为专辑画上圆满的句话。
